Sneaky peaky ...

Here is one of our autumn toned blossom skirts hot off the sewing machine. Oh we are so chuffed with them! More to come soon....

1 a.m. and still looking GLAM!

I realised we have never formally introduced ourselves! Wendy is on the left and I  (Sarah) am on the right. Often after a night of heavy sewing we end up hysterically tired, taking distorted 'funpark' photos of ourselves on photobooth and keeling over in laughing fits,  but this night we did actually manage something serious as well - I think it was about 1 in the morn tho so I can't say that we are looking our grandest...

Should have some blossom skirts in our autumn colours finished this week. Stay tuned to our etsy store for them. They look beautiful...if I don't say so myself  ;)

Blossoming Skirts!!!

Here's a peak at the first of our new Blossom Skirt range, these gorgeous ones are available on etsy, they come in 3 adult sizes, are made from denim and beautiful organic cotton in delicious colours...and are, of course hand wool felt blossomed. Keep an eye out for our warm classic & funky winter colour range Blossom Skirts that are just around the the corner...and just in time too!

And for those interested...who have perhaps suffered that same the-key-not-quite-being-where-you-thought-you-left-it fate...my wonderful partner came to the very handy man rescue, removed the door in order to be able to remove the ancient lock...yes those kinds that only have one key! Took it down to the local locksmith and returned back with not just one but two keys! Bluewren peace restored at last!...is worth a mention that shortly after, as is mostly the case, the MISSING key was found in the fridge under the can of dog food...lucky that little two and half year old is so damn cute!

Never a Dull Moment....

Ah yes...the Old Scramble Through The Window Trick...


Nothing will keep us Bluewren Gals from our Bluewren work - not even a lost key. 
"Through the window!" we cried - despite the angle of the window, the position of the ladder and the plain INDIGNITY of it - we got in... and even out again which was no mean feat considering the lateness of time and the tiredness of bones!


BUT we got the first of our Blossom Skirts for women made - gorgeous blossom print and denim A-line skirt...we are positively chuffed! We have delicious autumnal tones; teemed up with some yummy tights and the classic boot - you'll be the talk of the town! Stay tuned for some pics and keep an eye on our etsy site for them.
But for now...it's Key Hunting time. I am waaayy to old for that sort of scullduggery.

shake rattle and roll....

It's been a slow waking up in the bluewren nest this year - sleepy slow blinks and long stretches - the truth is that the school year has us all in a tizz as we try to adjust to drop off and pick ups and half day timetables and our own seperate working lives.... big sigh... but the good news is that we are just about ready to go with some great new ideas and samples being made ... ready to shake 'n rattle us into action!

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas...

Well now is the time to take stock of whether we all have been naughty or nice... 
Father Christmas's visit is imminent... All I can say is that wendy and I have been far too busy to be naughty.... and nice is all we ever are ... lucky for us me thinks! 
It has been action packed with markets every weekend - its been so lovely meeting and chatting with you friendly folk ! - and this week we have two twilighties before our final market on saturday. Just a reminder about our market venues...
