It has been lovely and deeply restful holidays full of renewal and inspiration. I have been enraptured with images from nature (aided by my spanky new camera eager to record them for me!) - I feel positively bursting at the seams with inspiration and ideas. I hope all of you had restful, fun and slightly mischievous christmas/new year period - and we look forward to the coming year may it be full of wonderful happy times and exciting Bluewren bits and bobs x

We have ONE more market to do before we settle into armchairs with a glass of wine (or two!) - this one will be the Little Yarra Steiner School Market which is on this Saturday 15th Dec from 8am - 2pm...so come over and see what we and our fellow creative stall holders have to offer - support the small businesses this christmas - yay!

All gift card packs are original art work by Sarah Baker (that's me!) - they are individually stamped (and therefore are all unique) - sold in a set of 8 cards (hole punched in the corner with a string attached) and are only $9.50 - (postage extra but will be very minimal - may even get away with a 45c stamp...) how good is that??? I am having such a lovely time carving out stamps which we are turning into gift tag packs - I have a secret passion for lino cutting and am sooo happy to have found a reason to just keep on going with them! The gift cards come in packs of 8, are hand printed on heavy water colour paper and are $9.50 a set. They are blank...ready for your creative prose : ) We should have them up on our etsy store in the next day or so...or email us on sarahandwendy@hotmail.com

And while I have got you, we will be at the Sister's Market at the Northcote Town Hall this Fri night (7th Dec) for the twilight market and then again all day Saturday (8th)- so yay for us! There are always loads of lovely things to see and people to meet at the Sister's Market so put it on your to do list the weekend of the 7th and 8th Dec. Hope to see you!

city adventures....

We always love being part of the Sophia Mundi Steiner School Fair and Open Day -

such lovely friendly folk and the location for inner city is so superb; I looked out of the new class 1/2/3 buildings and it was like you were standing in the country side! On the other side is the fantastic antiquity of the old Abbotsford Convent, wonderful old buildings full to the brim with creative studios/foodie treats; magnificent gardens as well as the yarra river sweeping around the edge of all this.

What a treat for city folk to have on their doorstep! 

This saturday we will be at the wonderful Melbourne Rudolf Steiner SChool Fair and we can't wait for that one! Hope to see you there x

We have hit the silly season in terms of our up coming markets - if you fancy a venture out to any of the steiner school fair days in melbourne and surrounds...good chance we will be there! We had lovely day out at Little Yarra Steiner School last weekend - the school is situated in the most beautiful landscape so in between  chats with the lovely folk one could wistfully gaze ... sigh....

So best be off printing/sewing/stuffing and sleeping in readiness. Oh me gawd - I am exhausted already!
